How To Obtain Hero's Path

Hero's Path is only obtainable for your Purah Pad after you have unlocked the Autobuild Ability within The Depths. Once you have done this, you can speak to Josha at Lookout Landing, and she will ask you to demonstrate your power by Autobuilding Robbie's hot air balloon for him. Once you fix this, they will both be ecstatic. Speaking to Robbie will prompt him to ask Link to meet him at the Hateno Village Research Lab. This is one of the labs you frequented during Breath of the Wild.

Once there, Robbie will explain to you all the add-ons he can include on your Purah Pad. These are the Shrine Sensor, Sensor +, the Travel Medallion, and of course, Hero's Path. Once you tell him you want Hero's Path added, he will get to work.

After speaking to Robbie for a moment, he will add this to your Purah Pad.

You will then be able to pull up your map and hit the X button. This will bring up Hero's Path, and you can use the button options to explore where you have been.

Once you have done this, Robbie will put up the Hero's Path instruction manual. You can refer to this anytime you may need help with your Hero's Path.

Other Purah Pad Upgrades

The Sensor and Sensor+ aren't the only upgrades Robbie can do to your Purah Pad. Here is a list of all Robbie can add to your Purah Pad.
