How To Find Caves

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Cherry Blossom Caves

If you want to find caves, all you need to do is find a Cherry Blossom Tree. These trees allow you to make an offering to Satori and in turn, he will light up all the caves in that region. You can then use your map to mark these caves before time runs out.

Why Find Caves?

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Koltin

The main reason you will be tempted to find caves is because Koltin, the friendly Hylian that wishes to become a Blupee. He will offer you special rewards for every Bubbul Gem you bring him. The best item you can get from him is the Mystic Armor Set. This armor set will allow you to lose Rupees rather than Hearts. In addition, these can have valuable armor pieces or treasure that you certainly will want to pick up.
