You can even build a plane, which proves to be very useful with how many Sky Islands are now floating above Hyrule. You are going to want to know how to build this airborne vehicle so you can soar through the skies without worrying about your stamina with gliding.

How To Build A Plane

TotK - Link Building with Planks

There are a few different ways you can build a plane, but the best one is this bomber plane build that allows you to not only fly above the land but also rain down hellfire on your enemies. In order to get construction started, you will want to find the following Zonai items:

  1. 8 Fans
  2. 4 Cannons
  3. 2 Construct Heads
  4. Steering Stick

It's important to note that this build is not made for speed. Instead, it's designed for damaging enemies and just being all-around fun to play with. It won't get you anywhere super quick, but it's still better than walking all the way across the map, right? That's a good trade-off, for sure.

Time to get started with the real building. For the body of your plane, you need to find two long wooden planks, which are easy to access at almost every construction site that you find around Hyrule. Attach these end-to-end, going a long way. These will be your wings.

Next, take two poles and attach them together to make a long pipe of sorts. Place these poles in the middle of your two long planks. You will now have the body of your plane ready to go, and now you just have to attach everything to keep you afloat, shooting, and able to steer.

To get started with the 8 fans, take two of them and attach them together, then add them to the end of the wings, facing down. Do so with two other fans and place them on the other side. Next, take a fan and attach it to the outside of the two fans on each wing, these at a 45-degree angle. Finally, place two more fans at 45-degree angles at the back end of the plane.

For the turrets, place them along the bottom of the wings and make sure they are evenly distributed so the weight isn't off. They are auto-targeting, so you won't have to worry about aiming. You can just fly over, and they'll open fire on their own.

Finally, just put the steering stick in the middle of the pole, and you can steer the plane as you fly.

That's all it needs for you to take to the skies of Hyrule and rain down some pain on every single Bokoblin encampment you come across. Let the people of Hyrule know that they have a guardian angel flying high above them.
