There are a lot of cool things you can do in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and crafting different items is one of those. You will need a fan boat to travel on the water during the early game, or even later.
Creating a fan boat is simple, but it can be tricky, especially when it's time to start the boat. This guide will teach you to craft a fan boat and the things you will need for that in Tears of the Kingdom.
How To Craft A Fan Boat
To craft a fan boat, you need wood logs and one or more Zonai Devices (they look like fans). To get wood logs, you can chop trees with your axe, and it will give you enough for the boat. Then, to get Zonai Device, you will have to wander around the world to find it lying in a chest. But the ideal way to get Zonai Device is from a Device Dispenser, which requires you to spend some Zonai Charges.
Once you have both materials, you can use Link's Ultrahand ability to join the logs together (it's best to join three logs). After that, grab Zonai Device and attach them to the back of your joined logs. This will create the fan boat, and you are ready to roar the seas.
How To Activate Fan Boat
It can be tricky to activate the boat. For that, you first need to move your boat inside the water and select any weapon of your choice. Hit the Zonai Device at the back of your boat, and it will start moving in a straight line. Be careful not to hit the woods when you are activating the Zonai device, or you will end up destroying your fan boat.
