While The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom is essentially a sequel to The Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild, the game does a really good job of introducing people to the various mechanics in the game. Players who have played the previous game must be well acquainted with shrines and abilities, but the developers make sure to introduce newcomers to these aspects as well, and players will find a lot of tutorials in the initial few hours of the game.

Complete Shrines For The Find Princess Zelda & The Closed Door Quests

Before players can embark on their journey to the Hyrule Kingdom, players need to complete three shrines and make their way to the Temple of Time. Head to the Temple of Time in the Great Sky Island, which can be found heading simply north after the starting area. Once players reach the large door, they need to interact with the door, after which Rauru will appear and ask Link to visit three shrines before they can visit the temple of time.

Ukouh Shrine

The first shrine players will visit is the Ukouh Shrine. There is not a lot players need to do in order to complete these shrines as they are really simple, and players just need to make use of the abilities they have gained in order to complete them. Once players head inside the shrine, they will find a few platforms lying on the ground, and players will have to use their newfound Ultrahand ability to reach the other end using the platforms. There is also a hook that players need to grab to sort of zipline to the other end in the next section, and that's pretty much it from this shrine.

In-Isa Shrine

After collecting the Light of Blessings, players can proceed to the In-Isa shrine. For that, they need to create a raft using the Ultrahand ability and then make their way to the shrine. This shrine will give players the Fuse ability, which allows them to fuse items with weapons. Right at the start, players will be able to fuse rock with their weapon, which will allow them to break the wall in front of them. Next, players need to destroy the pillars in front of them to get arrows. There will be a few trees around the area featuring some Fire Fruits. Grab them, and then fuse them with your arrows. At the other end, you will see a chest on a ledge, and you can shoot it with your fire arrows to destroy the ledge and get the chest, giving you access to the Small Key. There is a miniboss in this area that can be defeated using fire arrows as well, and once that's done, players can collect the Light of Blessing and proceed to the final shrine.

Gutanbac Shrine

The final shrine is the Gutanbac shrine, which is located in a snowy area. Players can survive in the snow by cooking the Spicy Sauteed Peppers, which can be cooked using Spicy Peppers found in the area. The ability players get here is Ascend, and it will allow players to basically teleport between platforms that are located above them. Start off by using the ability to get to the upper area in the shrine and then grab the Stone Axe from the nearby chest.

Use the nearby boxes to reach the upper platform and find another chest and get the Construct Bow. Head down, and cut the ropes to make the platform drop. Proceed forward and use Ascend once again to get to the upper platform. The last set of platforms is moving, and players need to time their Ascend correctly in order to complete the shrine.

Nachoya Shrine

Once that's done, head back to the Temple of Time, where you will learn the Recall ability, along with fast travel. Fast travel back to the starting area, use your Ascend ability to get to the upper platform, and then use the Recall ability on the cogs to open the entrance to the Nachoya shrine.

In the Nachoya shrine, players need to make use of the raft with the help of their Recall ability to reach the other end. Once they reach the other end, they can use the Recall ability on the cog to get some arrows. Next up, you will see a device looking like a clock. You need to use the Recall ability when the two hands align, and this should unlock the door. Grab the Light of Blessing and then head back to the Temple of Time.

Pray to the Goddess Statue to get strength, and then open the Closed Door. Rauru will make one more appearance, and players can simply head forward after the interaction to reach a glowing light. Interact with it, and then you will eventually be able to see the Kingdom of Hyrule below. You need to jump down to proceed through the story.
