Gut Check Rock is one of the most notable locations from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This location acted as a mini-game. Link would have to climb up the side of the rock formation while collecting Rupees. If he was able to collect 100 Rupees on his way up, a Shrine appeared.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Gut Check Rock is exactly where players found it in the last game. However, this location serves more as a landmark and easter egg to returning players than it does anything else. Here is everything you can find on Gut Check Rock.
InGut Check Rock Location
Gut Check Rock is located southwest of Kimayat Shrine.
It is also northeast of Sibajitak Shrine.
You will know you're at Gut Check Rock due to the fact that it is at a much higher elevation than the area directly surrounding it. While it is located between the two Shrines, there is no Shrine on the rock itself, which is completely different from Breath of the Wild.
Notable Features
While there is no sign of the Goron who started the mini-game in the last game, there are a few things you can do on Gut Check Rock before leaving. You'll definitely want to make sure you do all you can before forgetting about the area.

You can find a Cooking Pot on the rock formation. This is great if you need to make some Flame-Resistant recipes before venturing out into the Eldin region of the map.

For those who know the Korok Puzzle well, you may notice the red arrows around Gut Check Rock. If you follow where they are pointing, you'll be able to solve the puzzle.
On top of one of the small rock formations on Gut Check Rock, you'll find the Korok, which is what the arrows were leading you to.
Enemies
While there seems to be no sign of enemies during the day, at night, you have the opportunity to run into skeletal monsters.
Chest
You can also find a chest buried in the sand in the middle of Gut Check Rock. Using your Ultrahand Ability, you can move the chest and open it. Inside, you will find 100 Rupees.
