Delving Into The Depth

Firstly, you’ll need to make your way to the Korok Forest in the Great Hyrule Forest. You’ll be able to access this area by getting through the Lost Woods. Once that is out of the way, you will be able to fast travel here. Interacting with the Deku Tree in this area will have them tell you that their stomach is not feeling well. Jump down to the lower part of the map and turn back in the direction of the tree, and you will see a raised path that leads into a tunnel underneath the Deku Tree.

Go into the entrance of this tunnel and follow it. You will come to a wide room, but keep heading directly straight, and you will come to a chasm. Hop down this chasm and go all the way to the bottom until you land up in Korok Grove in The Depths.

Defeating Phantom Ganon

Several Gloom Hands will appear which you need to defeat. If you take gloom damage from them, you will need to heal up. You can make use of the game’s fusion feature to fuse some bomb flowers to your arrows. This will let you deal significant damage while keeping a safe distance. Once these hands have been defeated, it will trigger a boss fight with Phantom Ganon, Scourage of the Deku Tree.

His hits deal quite a lot of damage, so always be ready when he telegraphs an upcoming attack. Defeating Phantom Ganon will trigger a cutscene where you see all the surrounding gloom start to disappear.
