While exploring Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will come across many different areas that you might not understand. These areas can be pretty challenging to piece together what is needed. If they're part of the main story, you can't skip them.

One such place is Dragonhead Island. This is the end of the Sky Island known as the Thunderhead Isles. It is required to reach this area in order to finish the quest "The Secret of the Ring Ruins." It allows you to obtain the fifth Sage and beat Ganon once and for all. Here is all you need to know about the location.

How To Reach Dragonhead Island

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Dragonhead Island

Dragonhead Island is the head of the dragon-shaped island in the Sky Islands. It is at the end of Thunderhead Isles and is the location needed to reach in order to find the fifth Sage. It is the prerequisite to the Spirit Temple. If you want to reach this island before that quest, you can, but a storm is blocking the map from showing. This makes it extremely difficult to get to this specific spot, but not impossible

Once you reach the end of the Thundering Isles, you will notice an area that you can jump down from. This will lead you to Dragonhead Island. All you need to do is press A and allow Link to fall through the air to Dragonhead Island.

You will drop down into an area with the Joku-U Shrine. Enter the Shrine and collect what's inside. (This is a Rauru's Blessing Shrine.)

You will see an area you can use fire to burn down a wooden barrier. Behind this barrier, you will reach a Zonai gate. You'll need 10 Hearts to open the gate.

On the other side of the gate, you will see a pedestal with a mask on it. This mask will speak to you.

You will learn that it needs you to go to a different area, and a green beam will shoot from it, pointing the way.

The floor will open up, allowing Link to leave.

The area also has some Zonai Devices to make it easier to carry the mask. Using the Zonai Wing Glider and a Zonai Fan will be the easiest way to carry the mask to its destination.

This island is home to a few things you will want to check out before finishing the quest and leaving.

Chest

In one of the small ponds on the island, you will find a chest. You can use Ultrahand to retrieve it.

Sage's Will

On the tip of the mouth of the dragon, you can find a Sage's Will. This will allow you to upgrade your Sages, increasing their power in battle.

Sundelions

This is also a great area to farm Sundelions. They can be extremely helpful if you need to heal up from Gloom. Like most Sky Islands, you can find them all over the place.

Zonai Device Dispenser

There is also a Zonai Device Dispenser on the island. You can obtain a Zonai Wing, Cart, Fan, or Steering Stick from it. Since these items are essential for moving Mineru's mask, you will want to stock up. These can also be used to create an amazing Hoverbike to get around.
