The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom has a ton of quests to do. Some will be part of the main story, some will branch off to add more lore, and some can be completely silly.
Not all of these quests are just added as you come by; some need you to go out of your way to even become aware they exist. Not all of these are treated as Side Quests; some are referred to as Side Adventures.
Starting The Side Adventure
Start by opening your map and looking at the Zelkoa Pond. On the left side of this pond, follow the water down, and you will see a village on the map. This is Hateno Village. The first house on the map you see by moving down is where you will want to start. Inside this house will be a female NPC; she will be standing next to a bed with a small child NPC on it.
Talk to the female NPC. Her name is Clavia, and she will have several lines of dialog to make your way through. Ask her, “What’s on your mind,” and this will trigger the start of the Side Adventure, Reede’s Secret.
Into The Well
Leave the house and immediately start to follow the right wall of the house and go around the corner. Head straight, and you will see a well. Heading up to it will display the following text, Hateno Village North Well. Jump down this well into the water below. Swim to the shore and use your Ultrahand to move some rocks out of the way to reveal a tunnel.
You will pass by many enemies and materials you can gather as you make your way through this tunnel. You will eventually come to a cracked wall. Do not break it down; instead, stand in front of it and use Ascend. You will come out in a room with an open book on the table.
Read this book to update the adventure. Head out the door of the room and back to the NPC that gave you the quest. She will give you some Hylian Tomatoes as a reward, and this will complete Reede’s Secret.
