Life in Hyrule isn't the easiest, and there are going to be a lot of NPC's in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that will need your help. Some will ask you for some simple requests, while others will be a little more complex.
You can find Today's Menu early on, and it won't be a difficult quest for you to complete. With just a little bit of exploration - and a little bit of guidance - you will have this quest done with in no time.
How To Start Today's Menu
You can start Today's Menu at Lookout Landing, specifically in the Emergency Shelter in the middle of the settlement. When you have spoken with the soldier in the middle of the area, you will have access to the underground sanctuary. Heading down, you will find a collection of NPC's who are hunkered down for safety, including Burmano who is next to the Cooking Pot.
Speaking with him will inform you that he can't make his recipe because he doesn't have an apple for it, and he needs your help to find an apple for it. So if you're looking to stop the town from starving, then it's time to head real quick and bringing it back.
How To Complete Today's Menu
Finding an apple for Burmano is incredibly simple. You may have one in your inventory already, but if not then follow these two steps to quickly get one:
- On the surface of Lookout Landing is a small fruit stand, next to where you can purchase the Hylian Armor. If you go to the stop, you can purchase an Apple for 12 Rupees, which is incredibly cheap and makes this quest super easy.
- Which isn't to say it's harder to not spend money, as to the southwest of Lookout Landing is a small batch of trees. These trees just happen to be growing Apples on them, so if you go out to them, all you need to do is either knock them off or pick them off the branches.
Whichever strategy you choose, take your Apple back to Burmano in the Shelter and hand it over to him to complete this quest.
