In Tears of the Kingdom, the familiar landscape of Hyrule has transformed into something entirely different. New dangers lie behind every corner, and new mysteries await Link's arrival.
An Eerie Voice is a side quest that's part of the larger quest chain: Potential Princess Sightings! with the Froggy Armor as the final reward. To begin this quest, players will first have to talk to Traysi in the Lucky Clover Gazette near the Rito Village. Then, you can visit the Highland Stable, near the Faron Sea and south of Popla Foothills Skyview Tower, to start An Eerie Voice.

Start An Eerie Voice Quest
Begin the quest by talking to Penn near the entrance of the Highland Stable. After being impressed at Link being able to make it to this far-flung corner of Hyrule, he will tell you about a strange voice that people have reported hearing recently.
The voice sounds like Princess Zelda and is being heard from the Fural Plain region every night. The strange nature of the voice has spooked so many people that they have been throwing down their weapons in a well.
Complete An Eerie Voice Quest
To start the quest properly, you will have to wait until nightfall. Either wait beside a fire or sleep in the Stable bed till night. When it's time, talk to Penn, and he will begin the search for the voice by flying toward the last reported source.
Head toward him, following the quest marker on your map. As you close in on him, a small cutscene will play as you both hear a jumbled, eerie voice. Penn is scared stiff, and it's up to Link to find the source.
Following the voice will lead you toward a well.
At the well's entrance, you'll hear the voice loud and clear: Leave the arms, leave the arms: for it not, I'll do you harm. Despite the threatening tone of the voice, jump inside the well. Here you'll find a female Hylian, Sagessa, humming a tune.
Link will explain to her what's going on, and she will clarify that she's been singing a regular song, but the acoustics of the well have been transforming it into something sinister. She has also collected—a cache of weapons—those thrown by scared adventurers—neatly stacked by a wall.
These weapons are surprisingly useful, and if you're lucky, there might even be a fused Lizal spear in the mix with pretty decent damage. If you're running into durability problems or just need a new influx of boulder-fuse weapons, this cache is quite useful.
Penn will call you out of the well, and Link will explain everything. He will be relieved that there wasn't anything untoward going on and give Link his reward. With that, the quest: An Eerie Voice will be marked complete.
