The world of Hyrule is filled with curios and points of interest that expand upon the lore in Tears of the Kingdom. Looking under every rock and climbing atop every hill is the very core of exploration in this game. Not every rock you turn will have the biggest rewards, but that's what makes the hunt worth it.
The Beckoning Woman is a side quest found at the Outskirt Stable. You will need to find Penn, a feathery journalist, near the stable and talk to him to begin the quest.
How To Start The Beckoning Woman Quest
The Beckoning Woman quest is only available after you've begun the quest: Potential Princess Sightings! This quest can be started by visiting the Lucky Clover Gazette near Rito Village and talking to Traysi.
After you've talked to her to begin the quest, you'll be given a vague instruction to "visit every Stable" in Hyrule to find Princess Zelda's whereabouts and clues for her discovery. To start the Beckoning Woman Quest, head over to the Outskirt Stable in the southwest Hyrule Field and find Penn.
How To Complete The Beckoning Woman Quest
When you arrive at Outskirt Stable, you'll see Penn talking to a man named Nell. Intrude on their conversation to begin the quest. Nell will tell you about the strange experience he had when a woman called out to him, saying that someone desperately needed help and revealing who they were was very dangerous.
Penn has a hunch that the woman might be referring to Princess Zelda, and it is up to Link to investigate. Nell will also recall that the woman seemed strangely fixated on his hair.
Go down the path Nell was pointing toward. You will see a woman standing by a tree. Talk to her, and she will repeat what she told Nell, only this time, she'll also mention blond hair.
She will ask that Link follow her further along the canyon while remaining unseen because drawing attention to her injured friend will draw "evil" towards her.
Even though the quest asks you to remain "unseen," you can just run forward, following the road without caring about being seen. At the end of the road, you'll see the woman again.
This time, she'll ask Link to scale the nearby cliff wall and reach the top. The wall is easily climbable, and you can do it even without any stamina upgrades.
Once you're at the top, you'll see the woman again. This time, she'll ask you to jump over the chasm and reach the other cliff across the road. Jump off the edge and paraglide towards the other cliff.
Here, you'll see the woman for the last time. As it turns out, she was a Yiga Clan member testing you all along, piecing together clues to the fact that you are Link, Princess Zelda's swordsman. Of course, as soon as she confirms you are Link, three Yiga Clan members will jump out and attack you.
Defeat them using the tools at your disposal. Once they're down, Penn will arrive and hear your story in full. He will reward you according to your progression level in the main quest and take off. With this, the quest will be marked complete.
