The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom game has numerous main quests to complete bringing the game to around 59 hours long. However, if you're the type of gamer that strives for 100% completion, this time jumps from 59 hours to over 200 hours long.
Sometimes, however, it can be difficult to find the smaller side quests. When it comes to the Misko's Cave of Chests, it's a pretty easy quest that can get overlooked. It will be worth completing not only for the 100% completion but also for the rewards you'll receive.
Location
You must travel to the specified coordinates, (2604, 1322, 0149) which will be located at the Cephla Lake Cave. On the map you will be traveling slightly North of Foothill Stable when you're in the Eldin region. You will see Domidak and Prissen sitting at the cave entrance.
Misko's Cave Of Chests
There will actually be two ways you can complete this quest. The first way to find it may take quite some time to complete. However, the second way will lead you directly to the correct chest. This cave will be filled with chests, but only one holds the desired treasure.
1st Way: Trial And Error
The first way to find the treasure is to go inside the cave and open every single chest until you find the right one. This can be time-consuming but in the end you should eventually find the chest containing the treasure. You can utilize your Ultrahand ability to force the chests to fall from the walls and grab them off the floors.
Keep in mind there are a lot of chests to go through, so this is definitely the longest of the 2 ways. The correct chest should be located straight ahead from the entrance, almost to the rock wall. You will see some glowing seeds against the wall to the right diagonally above this chest. You will have to pull it from the ground.
2nd Way: Getting Help From The Dog
Alternatively, you could head over to the camp that's located near the cave. If you drop treats for him, meat or fruit, you can lead him into the cave. Once he is inside the cave, he will reveal the true treasure chest. Once you find it, you can choose to open the other chests or to just leave them.
Most will contain a single green rupee. The brothers will speak with you once again then leave a bottle with a note in it when they leave. Upon reading it, the next quest to obtain the Fierce Deity Armor Set will begin.
The Treasure
The treasure that you will receive from the correct chest will be Ember Trousers. These trousers have the capability of producing flames when you are in high-temperature environments. You will also receive +2 in armor. This is considered part of one of the best armor sets in the game.
