The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom has a lot of different types of quests you will be tasked with. Not all will be solved by felling a mighty foe or solving a devilishly devious puzzle. Some you will need to solve with style.

There are several of these decoration-based quests throughout the game, a lot involving portraits. This one is a lot simpler than those, as all it needs you to do is talk to the quest giver NPC, create a specific weapon fusion after receiving the quest, and then talk with the same NPC again.

Start The Quest

Zelda Kara Kara Bazaar

This quest will start over at the Kara Kara Bazaar. Head on over there and talk to the NPC named Boraa. After some straightforward dialog, you will be given the Side Quest, Decorate with Passion. The next step is simple, you will just need to use the game’s fusion system to fuse a Ruby onto your weapon. If you do not have any rubies on you, do not worry. Just set off for now and enjoy the game, explore any caves you pass and smash ore deposits, and one will pop up without needing to go out of your way. Once you have one, travel back to Boraa. Talk with them, and you will have the option to show them your ruby-fused weapon. This will complete the quest.

Where Can You Get A Ruby Right Now?

zelda Ruby

If you don’t want to wait for a Ruby to come up and just want one right now to clear the quest from your log book, you can go buy one. Rubies can be purchased from the merchant NPC in Tarry Town. Travel over to Tarry Town and speak with them to get yourself a Ruby. If you don’t want to buy one or get it from smashing ore deposits, there are two chests with guaranteed Rubies. Both of these chests are in the Eldin Region of the map. The first can be found inside the Kaya Mah Shrine, and the other is in the Shae Mo’Sah Shrine.
