The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has a lot for you to do. There may be a main quest line for you to follow that involves solving dungeons and facing some mighty boss characters, but there are also plenty of little things to enjoy. Among the many different kinds of side quests and side adventures, you do help out the many inhabitants of Hyrule. A portion of them will be for the little treefolk that inhabit this forest, known as Koroks.

This quest will have you navigating through a dark and ominous part of the forest, filled with skeletal enemies and even a boss at its end. Be sure to stock up on arrows and healing items before heading in. It may also be a good idea to fuse any weapons you have to optimize the damage they can dish out when you come to the boss at the end of this quest.

To find the NPC quest giver for this quest, you will need to first head on over to the Korok Forest. From the Shrine entrance, head in the opposite direction until you come to some rocks. Turn around and look back at the Shrine. Turn and look to the left. You will see two trees. Head through these trees. As you pass through them, there will be another tree on your right.

Once you have acquired the quest, run past Zooki and along the trail that is heading upward. Keep heading straight ahead, and you will enter a larger open area. There will be trees on both sides of this clearing, and you will want to stay in the middle and head forward. You should see some skeletal Bokoblin enemies in the distance as you enter this area. Head on over and dispatch them.

Defeating The Stone Talus

The Legend of Zelda_ Tears of the Kingdom talos

Once you have interacted with it, this shrine will send out a green beam of energy. Run in the direction of this beam. You will see a green gem sticking out of a pile of rocks. The moment you try to get up and close to this gem, the rocks will move, and you will have to face off against a Stone Talus. This enemy may look big and intimidating, but you have plenty of options to take it down. The green gem is your point of focus, and dealing as much damage to it as fast as you can send this enemy toppling. A good tactic would be to charge straight up to the Stone Talus before it becomes mobile and get next to the gem. Here you will be able to hit the gem in melee range with the most melee damage you can muster. Once the Stone Talus is on its feet and ready to fight, you can switch to using arrows. Be sure to make use of the fusion aspects of the game to make your arrows even more powerful.

Bringing the Stone Back To The Shrine

Once the enemy has been felled, it will explode in a purple blast of light and smoke. Pick up the gem and follow the green beam of light back to the shrine. Once it has been brought to the shrine, you will receive a cutscene. This will then transition into some dialog from Zooki. From here, the quest will be marked as completed, and you will be able to enter the Sakunbomar Shrine. Inside will be some nice rewards for you.
