The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has plenty of quests outside the main quest line you will be following. While the main quests will have you playing through several dungeons and facing some of the most daunting of the game’s bosses, these side quests and side adventures will have you helping the many NPCs that inhabit Hyrule in all manner of tasks.

These tasks can range from utterly trivial matters to threatening their very way of living. This quest will not need you to travel far and wide, but rather, every single item you need to collect is on the very tree you receive it.

Starting The Quest

Head on over to Korok Forest and head through the entrance located at the base of the Deku Tree. Make use of Ascend, and you will enter the Secret Room. Use Ascend again, and you will come back outside. If you happen to come out on a branch, climb up the tree to reach the very top. In the clearing located at the very top, you will see an NPC named Walton. Speak with them to receive the Side Quest, Walton’s Treasure Hunt.

Finding The Forest Dweller’s Sword

Directly behind Walton will be a large piece of bark; climb up to the top of this bark, and you will see a sword sticking out the top. Pick it up.

Finding The Forest Dweller’s Spear

Go to the other side of the bark from where the sword is located. Jump down and follow along the rim of the top of the tree. You will come to a dead end. On the right side of this dead end will be the Spear you seek. Head back and speak with Walton.

Finding The Forest Dweller’s Shield

Head back down to the entrance of the tree where you came from. Go to the left side of the entrance and climb up to the top left corner. You will pick up The Forest Dweller’s Shield.

Completing The Quest

Speak with Walton again, and they will reward you with The Forest Dweller’s Bow. Once the dialog has been completed, you will have completed Walton’s Treasure Hunt.
