Some will be just like this quest and have you wondering about trying to find the next point of interest to accomplish an overarching goal. However, for this quest, you will need to have the Zora Armor and some Fire Fruit. If you’re not a very good shot, then you will need a lot of Fire Fruit.

Starting The Quest

The Legend of zelda Tears of the kingdom Great Sky Island Temple of Time

Equip the Zora Armor and head on over to the Temple of Time. Here, you will make use of Ascend to get on up to the higher platforms that make up the temple until you are on its roof. Make your way to the center of the Temple of Time’s roof. Here you will see a Steward Construct NPC. Speak with this NPC, and once you have completed all the dialog, the Side Adventure, Legend of the Great Sky Island, will begin. You will now need to light three fires to complete the quest. That wouldn’t be too hard if not for the requirement of you not being allowed to touch the ground until all three are lit at the same time.

Being in the air on your glider will consume your stamina, making this seem like an incredibly daunting task. However, thanks to the Zora Armor, whenever you swim up a waterfall, your stamina will start to recharge, and it will not count as you touch the ground. This allows you to glide around indefinitely. Speak to the Steward Construct again after receiving the quest, and it will progress time to when the quest may start. Finish the dialog, and the quest will be updated.

Lighting The First Fire

The Legend of zelda Tears of the kingdom Great Sky Island first

Behind the Steward Construct will be some floating pools that are pouring water down from them. Glide to the nearest waterfall, and you will use the Zora Armor to swim upward until you burst up from the top of it. Deploy your glider and turn right. You will see another structure with 3 waterfalls pouring down from it into a pool below. To the right of this pool will be the first fire you can light.

This can be accomplished by fusing some Fire Fruit into one of your arrows. When the Fire Fruit Fused Arrow ignites the fire, redeploy your glider and glide into the nearest waterfall. Swim up and burst out the top.

Lighting The Second Fire

Head in the direction opposite where the Steward Construct is. You would see a floating platform with three waterfalls pouring from it higher than any other point. While this platform is indeed way too far to reach, its waterfalls go all the way to the pool below it. Glide on over, and you will make it to these waterfalls before you reach the ground. Swim up the first waterfall. When you burst up from the top, turn left, and you will see the second fire you can light.

Deploy your glider to get closer for a better shot. Once it is lit, turn around and go back into the waterfall you came from. You will need to be as high as you can get to reach the next waterfall.

Lighting The Final Fire

As you burst up from the top, glide over the second fire you just lit, and you will see a large waterfall straight ahead. Glide towards it, and you will see smaller waterfalls directly past it. Your target is the first of these smaller waterfalls. Swim up to the top of the first of these waterfalls. When you burst up from the top, turn to your left and glide into the closest waterfall coming down from the floating platform.

Ride this stream all the way to the top and glide forward once you burst from the top. Fly straight ahead to the next floating object with waterfalls pouring from it. You will see the final fire below you as you head in this direction. You can take your shot as you fly over it while heading towards this waterfall.

Returning To The Steward Construct

Once you reach the waterfall and burst out from the top of it, you will see the Temple of Time straight ahead of you, and between you and the Temple of Time will be a floating object with waterfalls. Fly into one of these waterfalls to make it to the top of the temple of time. Talk with the Sterward Construct, and once you finish its dialog, you will have completed the quest and received some Zonai Fabric as a reward.
