What Is Dusk Claymore?
The Dusk Claymore is a two-handed sword of immense power, which is sure to be a valuable addition to any player's arsenal. It boasts a formidable base power of 34 and an impressive base durability of 50, which makes it one of the strongest swords available in Tears of the Kingdom. Thanks to its durability, it can withstand even the most intense of battles, while its significant attack power allows players to deal substantial damage to their enemies.
How To Get The Dusk Claymore
To obtain the Dusk Claymore, players must embark on a challenging late-game quest titled "Investigate the Thyphlo Ruins." To initiate this quest, you must first travel to The Thyphlo Ruins, located in the Akkala region, and seek out Kazul for further instructions. However, players should ensure they have unlocked all the Sage powers before venturing into the ruins, as these abilities will prove crucial in solving the puzzles and uncovering the hidden secrets scattered throughout the ruins.
Begin your quest by examining the four slates to obtain the puzzles. Once you have retrieved it, it's time to put your problem-solving skills to the test. Solve all four sage riddles (Wind, Fire, Water, and Lightning) and watch the magic happen. At each area, you will need to use the Sage's Ability to complete the quest. Completing these challenges will reward you with a chest containing the Dusk Claymore.
How To Reobtain The Dusk Claymore
If your Dusk Claymore breaks, you can always purchase a new one. In order to do this, you must find the Bargainer Statues in The Depths and trade 120 Poes for the item. The Dusk Claymore will appear in the Bargainer Statue's menu as soon as you obtain it either through the Typhlo Ruins quest or Amiibo.
Alternate Method To Obtain Dust Claymore
In addition to the Thyphlo Ruins quest, there is an alternative method for obtaining the Dusk Claymore in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. By using the Super Smash Bros. Ganondorf Amiibo figure, you can obtain the Dusk Claymore as a reward. It is not a guarantee, and it may take a few times before you obtain this legendary sword from your Amiibo.
To use the Amiibo figure, select the Amiibo option from the in-game abilities wheel and place the figure on the designated area of the Nintendo Switch controller or console. The Amiibo will be scanned, and you will receive the Dusk Claymore as a reward.
