Flamebreaker Armor Shop in Goron City in Tears of the Kingdom

Once you reach Goron City, you'll notice that this small town has many shops, but the armor shop can be found in the western part of the town. The shop is easy to find, as you can spot an NPC sitting outside the shop, munching on a snack.

As you enter the shop, you'll find the Flamebreaker set waiting for you to purchase, however, it comes with a big price tag. The cost of each piece of the armor set is as follows:

  • Flambreaker Boots costs 1,200 rupees
  • Flamebreaker Armor costs 700 rupees
  • Flamebreaker Helm costs 1,400 rupees

If you're early into the game, it can be challenging to acquire 3,400 rupees, but if you're somewhere in the mid-game, saving up 3,400 rupees can be easy. However, if you're running short on currency, you can also go out for hunting to acquire money.

If you have saved up the required amount of rupees and bought the Flamebreaker armor set, you can wear all pieces to achieve complete immunity to fire and heat. However, if you choose to mix armors, you can still gain significant resistance to fire and heat by just wearing one piece of the Flamebreaker armor set.

Once again, if you are early in the game, and exploring fire and heat regions, it is recommended to hunt for fire-proof lizards and prepare fireproof elixirs. However, you should prioritize purchasing the Flamebreaker armor set as quickly as possible since it is the best flame resistant item in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
