While it may seem like a pretty basic set at first, it is a pretty solid set. Not only does it have good base defense, but it can also be enhanced easily. Thankfully, this version of the Hylian Armor is even better than the last version. Link is able to put the Hylian Hood Down. This guide will tell you how to find the set and how to put down that annoying hood once and for all.

As mentioned before, the base defense of this armor set is 3. This means the whole set has a base defense of 9. Unfortunately, there is no set bonus for equipping the full set. However, this set can easily be enhanced at any of the Great Fairy Fountains. To begin with, all you need is 3 Bokoblin Horns each. This will increase the set to have a defense of 15. After that, you'll just need Blue Bokoblin Horns and Bokoblin Fangs.

This level will increase the defense to 24. The third level requires Black Bokoblin Horns, Bokoblin Guts, and Amber. This will increase the armor's defense to 36. The final level requires Silver Bokoblin Horns, Bokoblin Guts, and Amber. It gives a defense of 60. While this may be difficult to reach, the first two levels are pretty easy. This is an amazing early-game set. This is a must-have because you can get the defense to 24 pretty quickly. It can also be dyed at the Hateno Village Dye Shop.
