In 1986, the very first Legend of Zelda game was released. The game, entitled The Legend of Zelda, featured Link fighting Ganon to save Zelda in this newly introduced world of Hyrule. This was the first game to feature the icon green tunic that is a symbol of the franchise.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, released almost 40 years later, has an armor set known as the Armor of the Hero. This armor set is the exact set that Link wore all those years ago in the first game. It offers a great easter egg to the original game. The set can be found within the large area known as The Depths.

The Armor Of The Hero Set
The Armor of the Hero set is a basic set that offers Link 9 base defense. Each individual piece offers 3 base defenses. It can be enhanced at any of the Great Fairy Fountains and will require some Star Fragments. The set doesn't offer any special bonuses other than bringing back Link's original look. However, if you enhance the full set to level 2, you will obtain the Attack Up bonus. You cannot dye the set at the Hateno Village Dye Shop.

The Cap Of The Hero Location
The Cap of the Hero can be found within Tuft Canyon Mine, right beside the Ancient Observation Deck. This is located beneath Tuft Mountain. The closest Lightroot is the Mimufis Lightroot, which corresponds with the Sifumim Shrine. The closest chasm is a good walk away. It is the Meda Mountain Chasm.
The Cap of the Hero is found in a chest in the center of the mine.
The Tunic Of The Hero Location
The Tunic of the Hero is located within the Dueling Canyons Mine. This is underneath the Dueling Peaks. The closest Lightroot is the Sohse Lightroot, which corresponds with the Eshos Shrine. The closest chasm is the East Hill Chasm outside of Kakriko Village.
The chest containing the Tunic of the Hero is in the center of the mine.
The Trousers Of The Hero Location
The Trousers of the Hero can be found in the Corvash Canyon Mine. This is located directly below the Corvash Peak in Hebra. The closest chasm is a bit of a walk. It is the Hyrule Ridge Chasm. The closest Lightroot is the Worihas Lightroot, which corresponds to the Sahirow Shrine.
Remember, when you need to reach a place far away from a chasm, use the Zonai Devices available in The Depths. You can find areas with them all over the place.
