In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Link can come across a large variety of armor sets to wear. (35 sets of armor, to be exact.) So, it is no surprise that some of these sets are well hidden and hard to find unless you know exactly where to look.

One such set is the Armor of the Wind set. This look is based on the Link from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. You can obtain this item by using The Wind Waker Amiibo. The set can be found deep within The Depths in the game. With such a vast area to explore, it is no wonder the set is hard to find. Here is a guide for each piece.

Updated by Erin Rice on June 6, 2023: This update added relevant information on the armor set. As more things are discovered throughout the game, more guides are created to showcase how to do certain things. The update also added relevant links to these whenever necessary to help players.

The Armor of the Wind set is one of the basic sets that Link can find. It offers 9 base defense, with each individual piece offering 3 base defense. The set can be enhanced at the Great Fairy Fountains, although it will cost some Star Fragments. (Star Fragments are required for all armor sets based on older Links.) The set doesn't off anything for a set bonus. However, once enhanced to level 2, the full set will give you a Boost Attack bonus. It also cannot be dyed at the Hateno Village Dye Shop.

The Cap of the Wind can be found in an unnamed location directly below Davdi Island. The entrance into this area of The Depths is the Tingel Island Chasm on Tingel Island. Unfortunately, there are no Lightroots in this area. However, lighting up the Sisinatag Lightroot in the other area of The Depths will allow you to light up this area. This Lightroot corresponds with the Gatanisis Shrine on the surface. You will find several rock walls you must break through while traveling from under Tingel Island to under Davdi Island.
