Climbing is a big part of traversing the lands of Hyrule and the Depths below in Tears of the Kingdom. Although the Ascend ability is useful, it doesn't replace the necessity for climbing entirely.

The Froggy Armor Set gives the players the set bonus "Slip Resistance," which reduces slipping when climbing wet surfaces. Like the Climbing Gear Set, this makes climbing much easier in certain conditions. It is a reward for the quest Potential Princess Sightings! To get this quest, Link will have to visit Traysi, the proprietor of the Lucky Clover Gazette near Rito Village.

Updated by Hamza Haq on June 16, 2023: Since the last update, new information about some hidden quests that were locked behind acquiring the Froggy Armor Set has come to light. The article has been updated to incorporate these new discoveries and new links have been added to add even more context for the players.

How To Find The Lucky Clover Gazette

You'll need to bring some cold-resistant clothes or food to survive the journey. To get to the Gazette, teleport over to the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower. Activate the tower to launch high into the air and orient yourself southeast. You will see the Sahirow Shrine nearby; activate it if you haven't already, then continue in the same direction.

The Lucky Clover Gazette is pumping out smoke just like a Stable, so you'll be able to recognize the structure from a distance. The coordinates are -3254, 1763, 0119. Here, you'll need to talk to Traysi, who is standing just beside the counter, to start the quest.

How To Earn The Froggy Armor Set

As mentioned before, the Froggy Armor Set is acquired by completing the quest: Potential Princess Sightings! This is a large chain quest that requires Link to visit 12 Stables across Hyrule and complete small side quests for each Stable.

You'll have Penn, a Rito reporter working for Traysi, to assist you while completing this quest. Penn serves as a quest-giver, and he'll be present at every Stable you visit that has a side quest to complete.

Out of the 16 total Stables in all of the Tears of the Kingdom, you will need to complete side quests at 12.

  2. Tabantha Bridge Stable: White Goats Gone Missing
  3. Snowfield Stable: Zelda's Golden Horse
  4. South Akkala Stable: The All-Clucking Cucco

The side quests don't need to be completed in a specific order. You can start with any Stable and go where your fancy takes you. Penn will be there to tell you what needs doing.

Completing each side quest will add to your total completion count for the Potential Princess Sightings! quest, and Traysi will reward you more the farther along you are.Traysi will also send over pieces of the Froggy Armor Set for reaching certain milestones in the main quest.

Completing the Potential Princess Sightings! quest also has the additional benefit of unlocking some new quests at some stables—like the Feathered Fugitives Quest—that won't become available until after you fulfill Penn's requests.
