During his adventures in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Link needs to be stealthy. Whether he is trying to sneak up on a horse, surprise a group of enemies, or capture some Fairies, one thing is certain; he needs to be sneaky.
While sneaking can be hard, the game helps you a lot when it comes to this. Not only can you create stealthy meals or elixirs, but you can also find armor that adds to your stealth. One such armor set is the Stealth Armor set from Kakariko Village.
Stealth Armor Set Stats
This set gives Link a base defense of 12. Each piece gives a base defense of 4. The set bonus increases Link's stealth skill, something invaluable if you're trying to gather creatures for elixirs. This skill can also help when sneaking up on enemies or taming horses. The set can be enhanced at any of the Great Fairy Fountains. You can also have it dyed any of the colors at the Hateno Village Dye Shop.
Stealth Armor Set Location
The Stealth Armor set is located in Kakariko Village. This set is actually extremely expensive when you first show up. In order to lower the price you will need to complete a quest. It is actually a pretty simple quest that doesn't take too long.
Entering the armor shop in town, Link will be told that the owner's grandmother is sick. She says she would lower the prices if she could, but she needs to be able to take care of her.
Speaking to her sister who is located near a cooking pot in town, the side quest, Gloom-Borne Illness, begins.
This quest just involves Link having to cook her up a specific meal to make her feel better.
Purchasing The Stealth Armor
Once you complete the quest, you can purchase the armor set. The Stealth mask only costs 500 Rupees now rather than the ridiculous price before.
The Stealth Chest Guard can be purchased for 700 Rupees now.
The final piece, the Stealth Tights, can be purchased for 600 Rupees.
