Quick Links
In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Link will come across some interesting sets of armor. Some sets, like the Yiga Armor, will allow you to disguise yourself as enemies, while others, such as the Mystic Armor, will allow Link to lose Rupees rather than Hearts.
One set that has an interesting ability is the Radiant Armor set. This set can be purchased in Kakariko Village and is one that can be found in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Thankfully, you don't need to collect tons of Luminous Stones this time around. This guide will break down how you can quickly obtain this armor.
The Radiant Armor Set
The Radiant Armor set has a base defense of 9. Each individual piece gives Link 3 base defense. The armor set has one of the most interesting abilities in the game. It will glow at night, making Link look like a glowing skeleton. During the day, the set just looks like a bodysuit. This set can be enhanced at any of the Great Fairy Fountains around Hyrule. It also is able to be dyed at the Hateno Village Dye Shop. While dying, it will make the daytime version of the armor look different, the glowing effect will stay the same.
The Radiant Armor Set Location
This armor set is found in the Kakariko Village Armor Shop. This is the same area where you can buy the Stealth Armor set if you're interested in it. When you first arrive in the village, the armor shop will have outrageous prices. You must first complete a short quest where you help the owner heal her sick grandmother. She somehow got into some Gloom and needs a specific food cooked with Sundelions. You can find a guide to that quest, Gloom-Borne Illness, here.
Purchasing The Radiant Armor
Once you have completed the quest, you can purchase the Radiant Mask for 800 Rupees.
The Radiant Shirt costs 800 Rupees as well.
Finally, the Radiant Tights also cost 800 Rupees.
The Radiant Armor In The Depths
While exploring The Depths, the Radiant Armor set will glow no matter what time of day. This can be extremely helpful while exploring areas you haven't lit up yet. While this glowing effect isn't nearly as good as the Miner's Armor, it can be useful when you first start out.
