Zant's helmet is a returning armor piece that will remind players of a previous character Link has met. This helmet also gives Link the ability to never be frozen, which is incredibly useful when fighting enemies that have a freeze-inducing weapon.

Where To Find The Scorching Coliseum

Skull Lake Location On The Map

To find Zant's helmet, players will first need to find the Scorching Coliseum to unlock the chest. To find the Coliseum, start from the Kimayat Shrine and head to the upper right section of the map towards Skull Lake. In the lake, there will be two islands, one being much lower and near the water level. This island will be a hole to the depths that Link can dive into. This hole is the closest one to the Coliseum but be prepared for a fight when you land.

After landing, there will be multiple skeleton enemies to eliminate, with a massive mini-boss, Stalnox, that will stand up to fight you. Stalnox will have a similar fighting style to many of the Hinox from Hyrule, with his later health bar being tied to his eye. Knocking his eye out with an arrow will leave the main body useless while you focus on attacking the eye and knocking it farther from the main body. After defeating this boss, there will be a tunnel full of rocks you'll need to destroy to escape the cave you're in and enter the rest of the depths. After exiting the cave, head west to find the Coliseum, only a short distance from your location. Its coordinates are 2163, 3166, -0838. The Coliseum is in the heated area of the depths, and you'll need Flame Guard to withstand the fire. Upon reaching the Coliseum, you'll see a chest in the center with Zant's helmet within, but once the Coliseum is entered, you'll need to clear out all enemies before you can exit.

Beating The Scorching Coliseum

Link Fighting Enemies In The Scorching Coliseum

All enemies in the area will be gloom-type enemies, making defense and dodging your top priority. You'll have to clear a total of 5 waves back to back with no time in between to prepare. The first three waves being two Gloom Black Moblins, each wielding strong fused weapons. Wave 4 will be a powerful Gloom Silver Moblin, with the final wave being three Gloom Black Moblins and one Gloom Silver Moblin. Use a non-wooden bow in this area, as headshots will knock back your enemies, deal a good amount of damage, and will shoot fire arrows. Due to the fire in the area, wooden weapons will catch on fire when out. Arrows are only briefly out, and if fired quickly, will give you additional fire damage to help defeat your enemies. After defeating all the enemies, the chest in the center can be opened, rewarding players with Zant's Helmet.
