During the events of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Link wears an unnamed shirt that is blue with a lobster on it. While this shirt is pretty insignificant since he was gifted his regular green tunic by his grandmother during the game, many fans still loved the iconic blue shirt.
In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, while out adventuring, you can come across a chest that contains Link's shirt from The Wind Waker. In this game, the shirt has been given the name the Island Lobster Shirt. It looks identical to the old shirt and is a great callback to the game.
Island Lobster Shirt
The shirt is not part of any specific armor set within the game. It is one of the many standalone items Link can find while exploring. Unfortunately, the shirt only offers a small base defense of 1, meaning it isn't too practical to wear into battle. It does offer Heat Resistance, which can be crucial if you are visiting Gerudo Town anytime soon. The shirt cannot be dyed at the Hateno Village Dye Shop. It also cannot be enhanced by any of the Great Fairies.
Island Lobster Shirt Location
The shirt can be obtained in Lurelin Village. This is fitting, considering the pirates in the village seem to be a reference to the many pirates found throughout The Wind Waker.
When you reach Lurelin Village, it will be overrun by pirates. They can be pretty difficult to take out if you don't have good gear. There is a large ship in the middle of the water here. While facing the boat, head to the right side.
While killing the Monster Forces within the village would make this task easier, it is not required to reach the Island Lobster Shirt.
Once on the right side of the boat, you'll see a wooden plank that can be used as a raft. Use your Ultrahand to pick it up. While doing so, you will see something underneath the ship that you can pick up as well. This is the chest you want.
Use your Ultrahand to push the wooden plank out into the water and then jump on it. From there, grab the chest and move it back to the shore.
You will find the Island Lobster Shirt inside!
