Armor sets sold by shops are some of the most usefuls sets in the game. If you're having difficulty navigating through an area like the Gerudo Desert or the snowy north, getting yourself the armor sets from the area's shop is going to make the journey vastly easier.

Lookout Landing Armor Shop

Located by the eastern gate leading out of Lookout landing, you’ll see an open-air armor shop and a general store together.

Hylian Armor Set

Situated in the heart of Goron City, past the general goods stores and the inn, you’ll find the armor shop marked by a large clothing sign hanging out front.

Flamebreaker Armor Set

Brazen Beak (Rito Village Armor Shop)

Find the Brazen Beak in the main stairway that makes up the Rito Village. If you’re planning on exploring the Rito region before resolving the regional phenomenon or are thinking of heading further north, the Snowquill Set offers excellent cold resistance.

Enchanted Armor Shop (Kakariko Village Armor Shop)

In the center of Kakariko Village, the armor shop is marked by a sign with a white outline of a shirt by the main road. The prices of the armor sets within are heavily inflated because the owner of the shop has fallen sick. To reduce prices, you will need to complete the Gloom Born Illness quest and heal the owner. If you already paid the extravagant sum for the armor from this shop, talk to the shopkeeper again, she will reimburse you the difference if you've healed the owner.

Ventest Clothing Boutique (Hateno Village)

At the center of Hateno Village's election arc, you can unlock the services of the boutique by completing the Team Cece Or Team Reede? questline and winning the Mayor's seat for Cece. You can buy back armor that you've either sold or lost somehow by talking to Cece by the register.

Gerudo Secret Club (Gerudo Town)

Like the name would suggest, this shop is hidden. You will need to first find the entrance to the Secret Club entrance in Gerudo Town. Jump down the waterfall well beside the eastern Sand Seal Shop. Head inside and break the walls that block the way to find a room with white pillars. Use Ascend in this room to reach the secret club. This shop is the only one that sells the chest and leg pieces of the Desert Voe set.

Starlight Memories (Gerudo Town)

Located in the north of Gerudo Town, the shop is open to browse from the first time you set foot in Gerudo Town. The Jewelry Shop is unique in that it only sells headpieces made out of jewelry. The owner of the shop is missing, and if you can find and rescue her, she will offer to forge the Scimitar of the Seven and Daybreaker shield for you in exchange for materials.

On the road to Gerudo Town, you'll come across a thriving bazaar with some vendors. You can find a Gerudo woman selling the Desert Voe headband in the center of the bazaar.

Best Armor Sets To Get Early

Although all armor sets have something going for them, the Desert Voe Set, the Snowquill Set, and the Flamebreaker Sets are especially useful since they allow Link to visit places he otherwise can't.

With all three sets in your inventory, you can journey across Hyrule without having to worry about extreme temperatures or bringing resistance foods and elixirs to simply go from point A to point B. All of these sets are only available by finding and purchasing them from particular armor shops.
