In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, chances are you have probably stumbled across a Cherry Blossom Tree or two. You may think that these trees are just like other trees in the game and are just there for show. However, they hide a very useful secret.

In order to obtain the various Monster Masks and the Mystic Armor set in the game, you have to collect Bubbul Gems, which can be found in caves. However, with so much land in the game, it can be hard to find these caves. That is where the Cherry Blossoms come in. They can help you see all the caves in the area.

What Are Cherry Blossom Trees?

Cherry Blossom Trees are the trees you can find throughout the Kingdom of Hyrule that are pink. These trees stand out due to their color. You will find a small offering bowl at the base of the tree. They also allow you to make an offering of fruit to Satori in order to summon the mythical beast to you. This has a hidden ability that will help you figure out where caves are and how you can get all the Bubbul Gems (and treasure) that you can.

How To Use Cherry Blossom Trees

Once you make an offering of fruit to the Cherry Blossom Tree, Satori will appear.

You will then begin to see blue lights shooting up from different parts of the area you are in. These are to mark all the caves in the area. Each cave will have a Bubbulfrog inside unless you have already collected the Bubbul Gem from it. In that case, you can check your map and see that cave has a checkmark beside it.

You can then go to the caves and find the Bubbulfrogs.

You can trade the Bubbul Gems into Koltin for the Mystic Armor set. This set looks an awful lot like the Satori that helped you obtain the Bubbul Gems for the set.

How To Mark All Caves

Once you make an offering to Satori, the blue lights marking caves will only stay there for 20–25 minutes in real time. This doesn't give you a lot of time to find all the caves that have been highlighted. Thankfully, there are a few ways to mark the caves on your own.

First, you will want to shoot up into the closest Skyview Tower. This will allow you to get an aerial view of the different caves around.

Then you can get out your scope and mark where the caves are. If you run out of markers, you can always go to your map and change the markers to stamps. That way, you'll know where everything is, and you'll be able to use the markers for more caves.

A Cherry Blossom Tree sits upon Satori Mountain, where Satori lives. This is one of the 8 Cherry Blossom Trees that dot the Kingdom of Hyrule. When you travel to this Cherry Blossom Tree, be sure to check the area. This exact spot is the best area to farm for Endura Carrots in the game. These carrots will eventually respawn.

If you travel to the Outskirt Stable, you can find a map of Hyrule. There are Cherry Blossom Trees marking every spot in Hyrule where you can find the trees. There are a total of 8 trees within the game, each one in a different region. This means you can find all the caves in the game using this method.
