Where To Find Heart Bass

Sky Island Location In West Hebra Sky

Hearty Bass can be found in two locations in Hyrule, both being sky islands. The first and easier Island to reach is located in the West Hebra Sky and can be reached by launching yourself using the Skyview Tower and paragliding over to the nearby Island. The coordinates to the Island are -3880, 2786, 0711. This Island will be a part of a small chain of islands and has two ponds where Hearty Bass can be farmed.

Sky Island Location In West Necluda Sky

There is one other sky island where players can find Heart Bass, and it's located in the Necluda Sky. This Island is a bit more difficult to reach and does require players to have the Zora Armor to swim up the waterfall to reach the Island. This armor piece is found after reaching the Zora domain and helping repair to armor before continuing the Zora's main questline. The coordinates to the Island are 2109, -2621, 1263. While this Island takes an extra step to reach, it has no enemies and multiple items to farm beyond just the fish, making any trip here worthwhile.

Hearty Bass can first be used as a food item. They can be eaten raw for just a couple of hearts or cooked near a fire to increase the total number of hearts recovered when eating them. Finding and keeping these fish is also crucial for those wanting to further upgrade their Zora armor pieces to level 3. Each armor piece will require three Hearty Bass to upgrade, requiring a total of nine for those looking to upgrade the entire armor set. After the level three upgrade for each armor piece, Hearty Bass are no longer used but are still a great source of hearts once cooked for those looking for easy fishing spots.
