How To Farm Staminoka Bass

Staminoka Bass are often swimming upstream, so approaching along the flow of water is recommended. The complete Zora Armor Set bonus increases swim speed, allowing you to catch fish easier.

Stealth Boosting foods or clothes (like the Stealth Armor Set) can be effective in preventing a Staminoka Bass from noticing you before you get on top of it. Remember to plan the route you're going to take. Once alerted, fish scatter quickly, and following them consumes a large amount of Stamina. Having a Stamina Elixir on hand can be useful in certain situations.

Like other fish, Staminoka Bass can be killed before being collected. If you're not confident about catching them while swimming, or you've had one too many get away from you, killing might be the answer.

Avoid using Bomb Flowers. Even though Bomb Flowers can quickly net you multiple fish if they're clumped up together, it will also roast them, meaning you cannot cook with a fish killed by a Bomb Flower.

The safer method is to use arrows. Arrows are silent and don't alert the nearby fish, allowing you to farm an entire group of Staminoka Fish safely.

Best Staminoka Bass Recipes

Staminoka Bass are among the top three Stamina Recovery ingredients players can get their hands on in Tears of the Kingdom. Using one Staminoka Bass in a dish ensures that the dish will recover 1 full Stamina Wheel on consumption if its effects are not negated by other ingredients. Using three bass in one dish results in a 3-Stamina Wheel Recovery — incredibly useful for when you have your Stamina fully upgraded to three wheels.

To cook a Staminoka Bass, all you need is a cooking pot and some fire.

Toss in a Staminoka Bass, no condiments needed, and enjoy your energizing dish. Of course, the bass can be combined with other ingredients like Hylian Rice and Rock Salt; however, don't mix it with other ingredients with a secondary effect (Hearty Truffle, Armored Porgy, etc.), as conflicting ingredients cancel out each other's effects.
