Interestingly, these medals make a return in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. However, this time, they are given to Link by the Monster-Control Crew. You can also obtain 6 medals in this game. They are for killing all the Gleeoks, Flux Contructs, Hinox, Moldugas, Frox, and Stone Taluses.

  • 35 Flux Constructs
  • 69 Hinox
  • 4 Moldugas
  • 40 Frox

Entering into the Emergency Shelter at Lookout Landing will allow Link to begin this quest. You will see a map of Hyrule with some circles and items drawn on it. In front of this map, you will find a man named Gralens. He is part of the Monster-Control Crew.

The Monster-Control Crew are the ones roaming the Kingdom of Hyrule trying to destroy Monster Camps. You may find them and get quests entitled "Bring Peace." There are 6 of these quests overall, and all can be found by talking to Gralens and asking about the group.

If you speak to Gralens, he will first tell you about a Stone Talus, Hinox, and Molduga. He will then give you a quest to kill one of each. Upon returning, he will tell you about an "Unknown Sky Giant" (Flux Construct), an "Unknown Huge Silhouette" (Frox), and an "Unknown Three-Headed Monster" (Gleeok). You will obtain quests to kill each of these as well.

When you head out to kill these Monsters, make sure you are prepared. You'll want to have some great enhanced armor, good food, and some elixirs to make the job easier.

  • When fighting Gleeoks, aim for their heads.
  • During battles with Flux Constructs, aim for the vulnerable parts that light up.
  • The Hinox is vulnerable in its eye, so aim there.
  • While Moldugas can be difficult, using bombs to knock them out works well.
  • Battling Frox in The Depths also requires shooting bombs into its mouth.
  • Finally, the Stone Talus will have a small mineral deposit on its back you can hit.
