As one of the hardest enemies in the game, Gleeoks are suitably difficult to find in Tears of the Kingdom. Encountering the rogue Thunder or Flame Gleeok out in the wilderness can be rewarding, but finding and defeating every single Gleeok is an achievement worth chasing.

There are two types of Gleeoks: the regular elemental ones with only one element to their name and King Gleeoks, which can shoot lightning from one head, frost beams from the second, and Fire from the third. Here are their locations.

King Gleeok Locations

The legend of Zelda Tears of the kingdom King Gleeok-1

King Gleeoks are much more powerful versions of regular Gleeoks, possessing three heads for one of each element. King Gleeoks are only present in the Sky Islands and in the Depths. They cannot be found anywhere on the surface.

Players need to be prepared for one of the hardest fights in the game if they're planning on taking on a King Gleeok and coming out unscathed. Here is every known King Gleeok location:

King Gleeok

Necluda Sky Archipelago (Sky - Above Eventide Island)

4649, -3722, 1059

Use the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower to reach the archipelago just above it. Activate the Kumamayn Shrine and head to the northern island (just before fighting the Flux Construct 3). You should be able to see the island with the King Gleeok inside it in the distance. You need to create a long-distance flying Zonai vehicle and a lot of batteries to reach this island. It's recommended that you have Travel Medalion unlocked so you don't have to make this journey again. Create the flying vehicle using Autobuild (we used a hoverbike) or from the components at hand to reach King Gleeok Island. Put down the medallion before the fight.

West Hebra Sky Archipelago (Sky)

-4469, 2274, 1247

Use the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower to reach the islands up above that house the Ijo-o Shrine. If you look up from the shrine, you'll see King Gleeok Island up above in the sky. You'll need a good flying Zonai device to reach it and spare batteries. We used a hoverbike again and reached the island after using a fully upgraded battery pack with eight batteries. The King Gleeok is circling the island at the top.

North Gerudo Sky Archipelago (Sky)

-4448, -2626, 1413

Take the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower and angle south. You'll see the King Gleeok Island in the distance. It takes about three and a half bars of stamina and Tulin unlocked to reach the island. Bring Stamina Elixirs.

Gleeok Den (Depths)

0355, 3133, -0621

Teleport to the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower and jump down the chasm directly to its west. The Gleeok Den is to the east of the chasm entrance in the Depths. You'll be able to see a small gap in the wall to squeeze through. A Gloom-ridden King Gleeok is waiting inside.
