Whether you seek enhanced protection, stealthy armor, or a touch of nostalgia, this game offers an impressive selection of options. And the good news? You can dye almost all the armor you find in the game and customize them in your favorite colors.

10 The Soldier Set

Link wearing the Soldier's Set and dying it white

If you've played Breath of the Wild, you are probably already familiar with these clothes. The Soldier Set is a depiction of the armor worn by the Hyrulean Army before the Great Calamity took place.

As one of the earlier sets available to Link (if you manage to explore the Royal Hidden Passage), you can enhance it at the Great Fairy Fountains and enjoy its great defense. You can also dye the set into different colors, transforming Link into an honorable white knight.

9 The Glide Set

Link stands in Hyrule Field wearing the Glide Set.

With the addition of two extra maps to the world map, Link can now soar into the sky and reach various sky islands. The Glide Set makes moving from island to island easier than before.

The wind-resistant mask has already a great design and ability, but it can also be dyed into many different colors. Turning the beak into a bright light blue color will surely make Link stand out even more.

8 The Depths Set

The Depths Set becomes an important piece of armor to acquire early in the game, as it makes battling underground easier. The pants and top are sold by the Bargainer Statue for Poes.

Midna's helmet is a bit trickier to get and cannot be dyed, unlike the rest of the set's pieces. You can, though, dye the top and pants orange, and make them match Link's fiery hair (with Midna's Helmet equipped).

7 The Yiga Set

In Tears of the Kingdom, the Yiga Clan is back and has way more screen time than before. If you admired their bright red attire in the previous title, then you are in luck.

You can acquire the three pieces of Yiga armor and use them to infiltrate the Clan's hideouts. If you are not a fan of red, you can dye the set in whatever color you like.

6 The Frostbite Set

The Frostbite Set is a new addition, which as the name suggests, protects Link from cold temperatures. Acquiring it may take some time, but it is definitely worth it.

As one of the classier-looking sets of clothing, the fact that you can dye it comes as a positive surprise. From a calming light blue to fiery red, there are many options to choose from.

5 The Ember Set

The Ember Set can be found around different caves and offers some much-needed hot temperature resistance. The best part, though, is its looks.

The headset gives Link some cool-looking fiery horns. By going to Hateno Village you can change the color of this set to whatever you want, and even give Link some ominous black horns.

4 The Stealth Set

The Stealth Set is already known from the previous title, but that does not make it any less desirable. It can be obtained early on in the game and makes Link, well, stealthier!

You can dye the pieces into whatever colors you want. You can also try combining the different pieces with other armor and make your own unique combinations. This set is perfect if you want to lean into the ninja aesthetic with an all-black look.

3 The Radiant Set

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Radiant Set

The Radiant Set is yet another set that came from Breath of the Wild. Based on the traditional makeup worn during Dia de los Muertos, the set glows in the dark and showcases a skeletal design.

By dying the fabric pitch black, the design pops out even more than before, and the transition from morning to night flows smoother.

2 The Charged Set

The Charged Set is one of the sets acquired later in the game. You will have to go through many quests and temples until you can obtain it.

The set is, though, definitely worth the wait. It adds much-needed defense as well as increases your attack power during stormy weather. What makes it even greater, is the fact you can customize it however you want.

1 The Mystic Set

In order to complete this set you will have to meet Kilton's brother, Koltin. By bringing him Bubbul Gems, you can obtain various monster parts, masks, and the Mystic Armor Set.

The Set is one of the most beautiful in the game, resembling the ethereal Satori creature. As an added bonus, you can dye the set in whatever color you like to make Link look like he came straight out of a Studio Ghibli movie.
