Throughout your time playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, chances are you will come across several Zonai Device Dispensers. These machines will take Zonai material and turn them into different types of Zonai Devices for you to use.
While some of these Zonai Devices can be life-saving, others are complete duds. Here is a list of the 10 best Zonai Devices, so you can know how to best use them and which ones you need to spend more time trying to obtain.
10 Zonai Canon
Have you ever been around a large group of Monsters that just haven't spotted you yet? The Zonai Canon is the perfect item for that scenario. All you need to do is set it down, aim it at the Monsters, and then hit it. The Zonai Canon will shoot extremely powerful canon balls at the group of Monsters, doing massive amounts of damage.
This can help you take on a large group in a short amount of time. The Zonai Canon will also start fires in grassy areas. This means that you can use the wind gusts from the fires to fly your paraglider. This can allow you to use your bow at a safe distance while taking out any stragglers.
9 Zonai Wheels
The Zonai Wheels are another amazing invention by the Zonai. At first, they may seem pretty useless. While they do help you get around quickly, don't you already have a horse that can do the same? Well, these wheels have a surprising function that not many may know about.
The wheels will allow you to travel over obstacles such as huge rocks. The really impressive thing they can do is they can travel through lava without any trouble. This is an amazing thing when you're in the Death Mountain area. All you need to do is attach them to a metal or stone slab and watch them go!
8 Zonai Flame Emitter
The flame Emitter is a great Zonai Device. You can activate it and then pick it up, allowing you to have a long-range weapon. In addition, adding a Flame Emitter to a shield can create a masterpiece.
This is called the Flame Emitter Shield. Anytime you use your shield, the Flame Emitter will shoot flames in front of you. This can become an amazing life-saving thing when you are surrounded by Monsters. The only downside is that this will run the durability of your shield down much faster than with regular use of a shield.
7 Zonai Fan
The Zonai Fan is much more useful than you might think. While it really only has one function in the game, that function is extremely important.
You can add Zonai Fans to Zonai Gliders, mine carts, Zonai cars, Zonair Steering Sticks, etc., to create vehicles that move much faster. In addition, the best vehicle by far is created by attaching two Zonai Fans to a Zonai Steering Stick. They may not seem like much, but they truly increase the usability of so many other Zonai Devices.
6 Zonai Battery
The Zonai Battery is so important for obvious reasons. Not only can you obtain a regular Zonai Battery in the game, but you can also find a Big Zonai Battery. These Zonai Batteries will allow Zonai Devices to last much longer without running off your own Battery capacity. This is so helpful to those who don't have a lot of Battery storage or for those who don't have the Zonaite armor set (which adds more Battery to your storage).
These Batteries can double or even triple the amount of time that your Zonai Devices can run. If you need to travel a long distance on a Zonai Glider, attaching multiple Zonai Batteries to your Zonai Fans can mean that you can glide for a much longer amount of time. These are certainly devices you want to keep handy.
5 Zonai Glider
The Zonai Glider comes in handy quite often. While your Paraglider works wonders, you can only use it so long as you have stamina. The Zonai Glider doesn't require anything. It doesn't even need help moving. You can simply put it on one of the ramps designed for them and watch it take off.
Adding different things, such as a Zonai Steering Stick, Zonai Fans, or Zonai Rockets, can certainly improve it, but it is fine on its own. It is also pretty easy to fly without a Zonai Steering Stick. All you need to do is move around it. If you don't have much stamina or you need to go far, this Zonai Device is for you.
4 Zonai Homing Cart
This Zonai Device is one that you might not see right away. It isn't nearly as common as the others on this list. However, the Zonai Homing Cart is built to detect and attack Monsters. All you need to do is place it on the ground and activate it. It will automatically find the Monsters around and begin to hit them. Not only will it help you know if Monsters are around, but it will also help you take down those Monsters. It can also take the Monsters' attention away from you, even if only for a brief amount of time.
3 Zonai Spring
The Zonai Spring is a Zonai Device you probably haven't thought much about. However, it can be so helpful in saving time and stamina. If you have a large mountain or cliff you need to climb, pull out a Zonai Spring. If you step on it and then activate it, you will be shot high into the air. This will let you grab onto the side of whatever you're climbing.
It also helps you if you need to be able to get into the air and use your Paraglider quickly. While this Zonai Device may not seem like much, it can really help you. You can turn that 10-minute walk up Death Mountain into a 1-minute jump with these.
2 Zonai Steering Stick
As mentioned before, Zonai Steering Sticks add so much to the different vehicles in the game. You'll find yourself needing to use rafts to float down the river, Zonai Gliders to make it to different Sky Islands, or Zonai Wheels to make it across the lava. Every time that you need to use one of these vehicles to move around the map, you will find it much easier to control and maneuver if you have a Zonai Steering Stick.
These not only save you time, but they can also mean more longevity for your Zonai Glider if you're using it to try to make it to other Sky Islands. Overall, this Zonai Device is a must for any fused vehicle you create.
1 Zonai Portable Pot
The most impressive Zonai Device is the Zonai Portable Pot. Have you ever found yourself in front of a major boss that you're too afraid to take on due to your lack of food or elixirs? With the Zonai Portable Pot, you can cook anytime and anywhere. If you travel to Rito Village without cold-resistant armor or to Goron City without flame-resistant armor, you could easily die.
However, this Zonai Device will allow you to cook meals that will keep you alive until you can find those armors. Overall, this is just something that you can use to keep yourself from having to travel fast somewhere with a cooking pot.
