The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players are already enjoying the game in all the wrong (or right?) ways. As dictated by the established unspoken rules of Breath of the Wild, all of them are now ignoring the main quest and going on a campaign to torture the little leaf-headed Korok people under the guise of helping them reach their friends on the other side of the shore ... or, ahem, the other side of life itself.

Two of the most sadistically prevalent Korok torture themes are "Crucfixation" and "Rocket Ejection". Crucfixation is exactly what it sounds like; the nailing of Koroks to cruciform wooden devices, as SaidTheEmu has taken the time to portray. And Rocket Ejection is tying Koroks to rockets and launching them straight into the sky, as Spook is doing here, but some players are already taking both concepts to the next level as we speak.

Some players, like IsaacPR95, tie the crosses themselves to rockets and somehow use the recoil of the air explosion to make them land where they want, and others, like Yer_Dunn, get pretty creative with what kind of rocket they make. But aside from rockets and crosses, there are people like Jasetin who tie Koroks to horses and take them for rides in the wilderness, and not just one, but many, as TatemsChosenLegend seems to have made a business out of it.

It's pretty much an official campaign (or movement) now, as user NintendoNerdAZ has already made a logo for it, which they alternatively call the Korok Space Program. In this program, everything seems to be legal, or to quote BluntKitten, 'if it works, it works!'

Some try the normal approach, but it eventually ends up as accidental torture. Others, like Ambler, do it in slow motion, and there are many, many other bizarre creations (as Goobomber has compiled on Twitter)— tying Koroks to wheels, throwing them in lava, and burning multiple crosses at once. It's really Tears of the Korok Kingdom.

Japanese players and outlets are having fun as well, as we see Game8–one of the biggest gaming outlets for guides and walkthroughs in Japan–is come up with its own rocket creations on Twitter. This Korok launch here feels like a space-time warp ship right out of a Japanese sci-fi anime, and this other one has a beautiful launch spin akin to Japanese fireworks. It's all truly 'Oof..' for these poor little Koroks.
