A creative Tears of the Kingdom fan known as @versus_shobu has taken on the task of crafting a functional spinning top toy inside the game (also known as a Beyblade or Beigoma). In addition, they have skillfully constructed an entire arena aimed at faithfully recreating the intense battles of the popular Beyblade anime series, which certainly wasn't an easy feat. The first problem Shobu had to solve to create this contraption was providing the speed boost needed for the Beyblades to perform their spinning action. And as we can see in their video, they are able to do this in two ways: by designing a platform that provides the electrical boost necessary for a spinning protrusion to swirl whatever it's attached to, and by attaching the Beyblade composed of a Metal Plate and a Stablizier to that spinning protrusion.ALSO READ: Lies Of P Might Just Be The Steampunk Soulslike Of My DreamsUsing a stabilizer to keep the Beyblade in an upright position while revolving is a logical design choice. The question, however, is how these spinning tops would leave the platform they're attached to once they've gotten the boost they need, and that's where the interesting part comes in.The platform Shobu has created also has fire-emitting devices attached to it, and these devices are aimed at a small wooden plate that is attached to the top of the spinning top. This wooden plate is the most important part of the Beyblade because, if it burns, the top will come off, causing the Beyblade to hit the ground and start gyrating around the field. Finally, there's the matter of wanting two Beyblades to duke it out. That's why having a metal plate with four pointy angles sandwiched between the stabilizer and the wooden plate is important to give the spinning top its much-needed combat capabilities.

Of course, there's the matter of finding the metal plates acting as power-generating fans for the electric/fire emitting platform, but they can be found in shrines and on a sky island in South Necluda (tip courtesy of @MultiGravBreak).

If you are wondering why a fan would want to create a Beyblade arena in the game, or how Zelda and Beyblade are even related. You should know that the concept of a spinning top existed before in Zelda: Twilight Princess (where it was called the Spinner).

The Spinner was a very important tool needed to defeat a certain dungeon boss called the Stallord in Twilight Princess. It also appears in Hyrule Warriors, and it's definitely a more versatile and fun tool there. Perhaps it's time for Nintendo to finally give us the long-awaited Twilight Princess remaster, with how fans look like they're subtly craving its unique mechanics in modern Zelda games.
