The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom added a lot of new gimmicks and abilities that have never been seen within the series before. In this game, you can use the Ascend Ability to ascend to the top of things, you can use the Ultrahand Ability to attach things to one another, and you can use the Rewind Ability to rewind time for a specific item.
Another interesting ability that has been added is the Fusion Ability. You will unlock this during the introduction quest and will find that it is one of the most useful abilities there is. You can fuse strong items with one another to create some powerful creations. Here is a list of the top 10 fusion weapons. It is important to remember these fusion recipes can be used with powerful weapons to be even more powerful than the ones shown.

25 Tree Branch Fused With Stone (Stone Ax)
The Stone Ax certainly isn't one of the best fusions in the game; however, it serves its purpose. The weapon can be used to chop down trees easily, making it a handy tool to have around. In addition to this, it is a pretty strong weapon if you are first starting out. This fusion requires a Tree Branch and a Stone. When they are fused together, they will create this handy tool that will save your other weapons' durability.
You can find Tree Branches anywhere. You can cut down a tree to get one if you can't find it. Rocks are also available all over the map.
24 Feathered Edge Spear Fused With High Fusion Items
The Feathered Edge Spear is a spear that can be found in the game and has an amazing effect that will help you tremendously. It has the ability to create a whirlwind to shoot at enemies as you use the weapon. This can be extremely useful in distracting enemies or pushing them away. If you fuse this weapon with a strong fusion item, you can create an extremely powerful weapon that does a great amount of damage and has this special effect.
The Feathered Edge Spear can be found in the Hebra region as it belongs to the Rito.
23 Feathered Edge Sword Fused With High Fusion Items
The Feathered Edge Sword is an item with a special ability that makes it worthwhile to use. This ability is that it can shoot whirlwinds out of it anytime that you use it. This means that even while you are regularly attacking, this powerful effect can happen. This makes this weapon a unique and worthwhile weapon to have. If you fuse it with some high fusion items, you can have high damage and this effect.
The Feathered Edge Sword can be found in the Hebra region as it belongs to the Rito.
22 Forest Dweller Spear Fused With Single-Use Items
The Forest Dweller Spear has a unique ability where you are able to reuse single-use fusions. This means that items such as Chuchu Jellies or Ancient Blades won't disappear the first time that you use them. Since you can make some impressive fusions with single-use items, this opens up a whole world of opportunities. You can truly create something amazing with this special effect that no other weapon has.
You can find the Forest Dweller's Spear in the Korok Forest.
21 Two-Handed Weapons Fused With Shields
Two-handed weapons are extremely strong in this game. Whether you're using the Dusk Claymore or Biggoron's Sword, you're going to have a great amount of damage. However, with that great amount of damage comes the downside of not being able to carry a shield. However, if you fuse your shield to your weapon, then you don't miss out on the properties of a shield. With this fusion, you can still block attacks.
Shields can be found all over the game. You want to use one that has a good amount of durability such as the Soldier's Shield.
20 Master Sword Fused With Strong Items
The Master Sword is the iconic weapon of the Zelda franchise. Even if you don't play the games, you know the Master Sword. Thankfully, even when fusing items to the Master Sword, it doesn't change its appearance. You will see the fusion item glow green and disappear. This means that those worried about changing the appearance of the legendary sword don't need to worry. With a nice 30 base damage, fusing items to it makes it unstoppable.
You can find the Master Sword during your quest to cure the Great Deku Tree. You can fuse any high Fusion Power items to create a great combination.
19 Great Eagle Bow Fused With Single-Use Items
The Great Eagle Bow has an impressive 28 base damage. However, it is a three-shot bow, meaning it shoots three arrows at once. This can get Link's damage up to 84 at a time without using any fusion items. While you are using the bow, you can fuse some pretty great single-use items to the bow for an even more impressive amount of damage. If you fuse a Flower Bomb to the bow, you will shoot three Flower Bombs at once while only using one in your inventory. This makes this bow unstoppable.
To obtain the Great Eagle Bow, you must first complete the "Tulin of Rito Village" quest and save Rito Village from the blizzard that is destroying their way of life. After that, Teba will offer to craft the bow for you.
18 Weapons Fused With Gleeok Horns
Gleeok Horns drop from the many Gleeok that roam Hyrule. Depending on which Gleeok you kill, you will either obtain a Gleeok Thunder Horn, Gleeok Frost Horn, or Gleeok Flame Horn. If you defeat a King Gleeok, you will get all three. Each of these Gleeok Horns not only has 30 Fusion Power, but it also will allow Link to do an elemental attack. This can be extremely helpful during certain situations (like fighting Gibdo). These Gleeok Horns are amazing fusion items.

17 Forest Dweller's Sword Fused With Single-Use Items
The Forest Dweller's Sword seems pretty underwhelming to begin with. It has a low base damage that isn't anything impressive. However, the weapon boasts a secret ability to reuse any fusion item. This means that if you use a single-use fusion item on the sword, the item won't disappear. Instead, it will stay fused to the weapon as long as you have the weapon. This can make for some pretty impressive weapons.
You can obtain the Forest Dweller's Sword during the quest "Walton's Treasure Hunt." This is found in the Korok Forest after curing the Great Deku Tree.
16 Savage Lynel Bow Fused With Single-Use Items
The Savage Lynel Bow is just like the Great Eagle Bow, but better. This bow can be found as a three-shot or a five-shot bow, meaning it can shoot three or five arrows at once. The base damage of this bow is 32, so if you have a three-shot it is 96 and a five-shot bow is 160. This easily makes this bow the most powerful in the game. When combining the bow with items such as the Flower Bomb or Fire Fruit, you can do a ton of damage.
This bow can be found from killing Lynels. If you want the five-shot version, the Lynel has to be a Silver or White-Maned Lynel. The bow dropping just comes from luck after killing the Lynel.
15 Sturdy Weapons Fused With Boulders
While this combination isn’t very high, damage-wise (around 9 base damage), it is extremely useful if you don’t have any Flower Bombs on you. It can also be useful if you are wanting to save up on Flower Bombs to use against enemies.
This fusion will create a Boulder Hammer, something to destroy rocks blocking your path with ease. Fusing boulders with sturdy weapons allows for a much longer durability.
14 Arrows Fused With Bomb Flowers
These arrows act as bombs for Link. Rather than having actual bombs, you're able to use them at a pretty solid range. You can use them to blow up enemies, explosive barrels, and the different rocks that block paths. They can be super useful if you do not have a rock or boulder weapon in your inventory.
You're able to find them in caves. They are very prevalent around areas that have a lot of rocks blocking paths. Make sure to stock up on these every chance you get; you can never have too many.
13 Arrows Fused With Monster Eyeballs
Any arrow that is fused with one of these eyeballs will automatically hit the enemy you are aiming at. The eyeball will allow the arrow to continue soaring and follow the Monster around until it has been hit. This can be great for anyone who isn’t the best at aiming.
They are also amazing during fights where Monsters are flying. You can get these eyeballs from any Monster that can fly. They are usually seen in dark places, caves, and around enemy camps.
12 Swords Fused With Gemstones
When you fused gemstones with weapons, you get a weapon that is not only able to work as normal but can also shoot different elemental orbs. Rubies shoot fire, Topaz shoots electricity, and Sapphire shoots water. These can be super beneficial if you need these specific elements.
For example, an Opal one could be super useful during the Zora quest line. The Ruby one can be one of the most useful tools at your disposal during the Wind Temple quest with the Rito. You can find these Gemstones in any ore deposit.
11 Zonaite Weapons Fused With Zonai Materials
When you combine these two items, you get a pretty powerful weapon. Considering you can find both items in the beginning during your time on the Great Sky Island, you can get this early. Both pieces drop from the many different Constructs roaming these areas.
This makes it an excellent item for early in the game. Fusing any weapon with Solider Construct Horns can be beneficial just because they offer Link so much more damage to his weapons. The Zonaite Weapons are given a boost if they are fused to Zonai materials.
10 Moblin Arms Fused With Moblin Arms
The Moblin Arm has a base damage of 28. Adding another Moblin Arm to this will increase the damage by another 28. The total damage of this amazing weapon is 56. This means that fusing them will double the damage you do.
While they may break quickly, the damage done is amazing. You can easily find Moblin Arms at night. They are worthwhile just because you can use them on strong enemies to knock them out faster.
9 Weapons Fused With Ancient Blades
Ancient Blades are one of the most powerful items you can fuse a weapon with. They will add an additional 50 damage to your weapon. If you fuse it to a Gerudo weapon or a wet Zora weapon, this is doubled.
The reason they are so low on this list is due to the fact that they break after one use. You can find them by scanning Amiibo, purchasing them, or finding them in chests. You can find a more detailed guide on them here.
8 Weapons Fused With Zonai Devices
Weapons that are fused with Zonai Devices can become extremely powerful. For example, a weapon fused with a Fire Emitter or Shock Emitter can become quite powerful. These devices will allow you to shoot these elements directly out of your weapons at a more powerful rate than that that comes with gemstone fusions.
You can also use Rockets or Fans that will add damage to your weapon. Adding the Zonai Canon to a weapon can create a portable canon. This can shoot as many canon balls as your Zonai Battery will allow.
7 Spears Fused With Spears
If you’re looking for a strong weapon with absurd range, look no further. Fusing two Spears together will allow you to have more damage than a regular Spear while also giving you a ridiculous range. This means you can stay out of the range of enemies without using a bow.
Another amazing aspect of the Spear is the fact that it is so fast. Having two fast weapons fused together ensures you are faster than your opponent.
6 Weapons Fused With Molduga Jawbones
The Molduga Jawbone may not be the best item to fuse with, it can be an amazing weapon if you know how to use it properly. What makes this weapon, so great is that the Molduga Jawbone is considered a bone. If you wear the Evil Spirit Armor set or the Radiant Armor set (each piece enhanced to level 2), you will have the Bone Proficiency Ability. This will increase the damage you do with bones by a lot.
If you want a Molduga Jawbone, all you need to do is defeat a Molduga. They are found under the sand in the Gerudo Desert. You'll want to bring plenty of Flower Bombs or Zonai Time Bombs if you want to successfully defeat one.
