Destiny 2 Season of the Witch is already live, but the upcoming raid is still a few days away from its official release. Developer Bungie has confirmed that it will be bringing back Crota's End raid from the original Destiny for Season 22, but it won't be the same experience as before.

Crota's End will fall under the Legends category in Destiny 2. This means the raid will be available for free to all players, requiring no expansion ownership, much similar to Vault of Glass and King's Fall raids.

Destiny 2 Crota's End Raid: Contest Mode Schedule

From the moment that the raid is out, the Contest Mode will begin. Any player that manages to complete the raid within 48 hours of launch will receive a special emblem as a reward. It's worth noting that there will be no other way to get this emblem once the Contest Mode is over.

The team that manages to finish the raid as the first Fireteam in the world will receive the World's First title as a reward. It's yet to be seen how much the raid has been changed compared to the original version, but if you have not completed it yet, we suggest checking out the original raid before venturing forth into the upcoming version, especially if you are willing to compete for the World's First title.

Similar to all raids, a Fireteam of six is required to complete Crota's End. So, make sure to gather your crew before the raid begins. It is also yet to be seen whether a new update will be deployed before the raid's release or not.
