Secret Invasion episode 5 release schedule

The episode started with G'iah surviving a gunshot from Gravik. In 2012, Varra and Nick Fury met in Paris to talk about Fury's role with the Avengers. Now, back in the present, Varra spoke with Raava, a persona of James Rhodes. Varra attempted to convince him that killing Fury was unnecessary because Fury had changed, but Rhodes insisted that he must be killed. They were unaware that Fury was listening in on their talk via a wiretap. While Pagon learned of G'iah's defection and the need for her death, Gravik and the Skrull Resistance were preparing for an impending attack and plotting to blame the Russians.

G'iah inquired about a scheme for a new Skrull residence. Although G'iah didn't appreciate living in disguise on Earth, G'iah asked about their plan for a new Skrull home. Talos aimed to win over world leaders to let Skrulls stay on Earth. Back at home, Varra confessed to her true identity and revealed that she was a target since she had betrayed Gravik.

Fury visited Rhodes in a hotel suite, pretending not to know about the impostor. He revealed Skrulls' infiltration of the U.S. Government and offered silence in exchange for reinstatement. Instead, Rhodes showed footage of Gravik killing Maria Hill as leverage. Unaware, Rhodes left, followed by Fury and Talos using a tracker. Rhodes welcomed President Ritson for peace talks, but the Resistance attacked, posing as Russians. Fury, Talos, and the security intervened, and Talos got wounded. An SAS soldier revealed as Gravik killed Talos and escaped with Pagon.
