But what sets this game apart from others is its unique mechanic that allows you to summon avatars of different companions to aid you in your battles. And one such companion that has grabbed everyone's attention is Tulin.

How To Summon Tulin
In order to obtain the ability to summon Tulin in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you must first complete a challenging quest known as Tulin of Rito Village. The mission requires solving puzzles and overcoming a deadly foe, Colgera. Colgera is the boss of The Wind Temple and can be encountered again in the future by heading to certain parts of The Depths. But once you've accomplished these feats, you will be rewarded with the Vow of Tulin, Sage of Wind—an extraordinary power that allows you to summon Tulin's avatar.
Once you have unlocked the Vow of Tulin, Sage of Wind ability, summoning Tulin's avatar is just a few easy steps away. Here are step-by-step instructions:
- Open the inventory by pressing the + button on your controller.
- Once there, navigate to the Key Items tab by using the L or R buttons.
- Locate and select “Vow of Tulin, Sage of Wind” from the list of options.
- After selecting it, press the A button and then select “Summon.”
- Finally, confirm the selection by pressing A once more.
How To Effectively Use Tulin's Ability
The Vow of Tulin proves to be a versatile tool for both combat and exploration activities. While utilizing it in a fight can prove useful in knocking back smaller foes, it has a far more potent application during exploration. The fierce gust of wind created by Tulin provides a tremendous speed, making your glide much quicker and allowing you to access unreachable areas.
It's important to note that in order to use this item, the user must leave Rito Village. Additionally, the cooldown time for this ability is pretty slow.

- Vow of Yunobo, by completing Yunobo of Gordon City
