The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has an expansive world for the players to explore around. In order to unlock the entirety of the map, players must unlock all of the fifteen Skyview Towers first. These Skyview Towers are located across different locations around Hyrule, and players will need to go through some sort of challenge to unlock these towers.
The Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower is a little bit different from the other Skyview Towers as it does not require the players to solve any puzzles or carry out any particular tasks in order to unlock it. Players can unlock this tower just by walking into it. On the contrary, there is nothing in TotK that can be readily unlocked. The path to get inside the tower itself is a big challenge, and most of the players might fail if they do not have the knowledge about it beforehand.
Finding The Tower
The Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower can be found on the summit of Mount Lanayru, which can be found in the farthest southeast corner of Hyrule. The tower can be found at the following XYZ coordinates: (3844, -1307, 0539). Getting on top of the mountain can be a very challenging job for the players. In addition to that, the bone-chilling cold could make it significantly more challenging for the players to survive in this region. Before you venture towards the Mount Lanayru region, check that you have a sufficient amount of cold resistance equipped. Be careful to increase your stamina as well, as reaching the tower will need a significant amount of climbing on your part.
Unlocking The Tower
Unlocking Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower does not require the players to solve any puzzle or finish any task. However, the task of climbing the tower and reaching the top of the tower itself is a difficult endeavor. Players have a number of options available to them for climbing to the top of the tower, and you are free to come up with your very own original strategy as well.
However, the easiest way to reach Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower is by utilizing Link’s Recall ability. This ability allows Link to rewind any object. You must have already unlocked this ability by the time you attempt to unlock Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower.
After getting inside the vicinity, you will notice a large piece of rocks falling from the sky. As soon as you become aware of one, you should make a run toward the rock that is falling. Keep tracking the fallen rock by using the Recall ability while making your way through the hilly terrain.
After successfully reaching the rock, climb on top of it. Now press A to rewind the rock, and it will start taking you up in the sky. As soon as you cross the level of Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower, jump off from the rock and glide your way to the Skyview Tower. After you have successfully landed, simply go inside the Skyview Tower and interact with the pedestal inside to make it a fast travel point.
